The Living Center is always planning fun activities for our residents. We also have regular visits from some friendly faces. It’s been a busy couple of months at The Living Center! From the Flower Show for the Dan Emmett Festival in August to the recent visitors we hosted in September, we’ve had a wonderful time!
From August 9th through the 11th, we hosted the Flower Show for the Dan Emmett Festival! We had beautiful floral displays available for the public to view.
In early September, our retired Program Director, Peggi Springer, visited The Living Center! She entertained everyone with her beautiful piano music. We so enjoyed her visit and hope to see her again soon.
Thank you, ladies, for visiting The Living Center! We are blessed to regularly work on fun projects with the Knox County Garden Club. Our residents had a fun afternoon making beautiful floral arrangements.
On September 11th, we enjoyed LIVE music from Barefoot McCoy! This event was open to the public, and we had a fabulous turnout. He played a wide array of music, including a resident favorite, the Tennessee Waltz! We appreciate Jake McCoy for sharing his music with us.
We love when the Mount Vernon Nazarene University students visit The Living Center! They recently had lunch with our residents, and everyone had a lovely time. We noticed the chatter became louder and louder during lunch. It’s great to see these two generations connecting.
