It’s been a great November so far at The Living Center! We welcomed fall with fun arts and crafts last month and got spooky for Halloween by dressing up in festive costumes! But now, as we dive deeper into the season, our residents must stay happy and healthy. So, we’ll keep the ball rolling with the fun!
That shouldn’t be too difficult a task, as we’re getting closer to a favorite holiday: Thanksgiving!
And boy, do we have a lot to be thankful for! This season’s blessings are overflowing, from delicious, nutritious meals to fun games with friends and caring and supportive staff.
We’re taking care of our residents this month through our beauty services. This includes weekly hair appointments for our men and women! Our residents appreciate this time of self-care as it improves their confidence and self-esteem.
Staying social is also an essential part of our health! That’s why we’ve been continuing community leisure time this November with games like Uno, Yahtzee, and cornhole with our friends! We even had a game of trivia this month to promote brain health.
A final way we’re staying fit this winter season is through our weekly exercise program in the activity room. Although, our residents are always welcome to use the athletic equipment provided at their own pace, which boosts their health and wellness!
