This April has been filled with sweet treats, bunny-themed activities, and other exciting events planned by our Activities Coordinator at The Living Center. We’ve had a blast, and we’re “hopping” this month was fun-filled for you, too! Here’s a quick recap of some favorite memories:
The Living Center celebrated Easter all month by adding fun little twists to some of our more regular activities. For example, we incorporate an optional exercise activity into the calendar each month. This month’s exercise was called the “Egg Shaker.” Our seniors enjoyed getting festive while also having the opportunity to shake their arms and legs in a supportive community environment.
We continued the holiday spirit by throwing an Easter party and egg hunt. We encouraged our seniors to join in on the fun by bringing their own unique Easter bonnet. At the same time, they hunted for eggs with special prizes inside. Everyone had a wonderful time with good friends, good memories, and delicious food!
We also had a lovely Easter Sunday, with a unique service brought to us by Pastor Brad Ham. We are grateful that he came to The Living Center to spread joy in our Activity Room. One of the most gratifying aspects of coordinating religious services at The Living Center is our ability to provide the complex with a safe space to come together and celebrate our blessings.
We’re dedicated to ensuring that our seniors have the right tools and skilled care at their disposal and the best entertainment and social opportunities. If you’re interested in what we offer, or if you’d like to see what we’ll be up to next month, visit our website! These events highlight our fun this month; we can’t wait to plan even more ways to spend time together at The Living Center.
